Deze casestudy is voorlopig alleen in het Engels beschikbaar.
Objective
To raise awareness and increase the atrial fibrillation detection yield in Hong Kong through a large-scale targeted case-finding programme.
Approach
FibriCheck partnered with Roche Diagnostics, Hong Kong’s leading digital health platform DrGo and the Hong Kong Society of Rehabilitation. Residents get free access to FibriCheck in the DrGo app for 14 days, measuring twice a day and additionally when experiencing symptoms.
Outcome
If results suggest possible atrial fibrillation, the Hong Kong Society of Rehabilitation follows up by phone or email and recommends further tests; those detected with AF are advised to seek medical attention. The partnership aims to have 100,000 people use FibriCheck via the DrGo app to help close the AF detection gap in Hong Kong.
