Objective
To meet clients’ need to be empowered in disease prevention by giving them free access to FibriCheck for a year.
Approach
By offering FibriCheck free for a year, a health insurer can shift its focus from treatment and follow-up toward a preventative model, meeting evolving client needs while reducing pressure on an overstretched healthcare system. Early detection of atrial fibrillation leads to improved outcomes and lower cost, and FibriCheck also serves as a monitoring tool for those already diagnosed, providing reassurance and additional options in their health management.
Outcome
During the first year, more than 6,000 Helan clients measured their heart rhythm with FibriCheck, totalling 200,000 measurements. The collaboration was renewed for a second year. Combined with the blood pressure feature, Helan members can now track several vital parameters for a fuller understanding of their cardiovascular health.
