Navigating the digital pathway in the NHS with DigitalHealth.London

Our acceptance into DigitalHealth.London’s Accelerator programme, gave us the opportunity to significantly increase our credibility and visibility with NHS stakeholders. At the same time, we also grew our understanding of UK Information Governance (IG) and cyber security requirements.

“As a Belgian company, the DigitalHealth.London Accelerator programme has introduced us to an invaluable network of UK experts, who gave us guidance in understanding the NHS landscape and how it works”, says UK lead Felicia Vaz. “The Accelerator also assisted in exposure to opportunities for pilots and commercial contracts within key NHS trusts to test and validate our product.”

Most notably, our solution has been adopted in Chelsea Westminster for both secondary and primary prevention, Barts for remote cardiac monitoring post-intervention, and in Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust for post-stroke discharge pathway transformation, to address Holter wait times and improve AF detection yield.

FibriCheck additionally  garnered successful partnerships with both Eastern and Innovation Agency AHSNs, whose collaboration will realise scale and spread of the innovation within the region.

Since our acceptance onto the Accelerator programme, FibriCheck was also recognised in the latest primary care cardiovascular disease (CVD) prevention guidance as an effective solution for remote AF detection and management.
