We have added a new feature to FibriCheck that has been designed in order to support healthcare providers with their patient follow-up. Healthcare providers will now be able to log treatments (e.g. ablation, cardioversion, and medication) or diagnostics (e.g. Holter monitor, 12-lead-ECG, and patch monitor) in the FibriCheck portal. By doing so, they will be able to compare their patients’ symptoms and rhythm before and after a certain procedure, such as an ablation.
How does it work?
The treatments and diagnostics logging feature will be enabled automatically, so healthcare providers will be able to add logs right away. By doing so, they’ll gain insights into the entire AF phenotype of their patients, including AF load, symptoms, symptom severity, and symptom-rhythm correlation before and after treatment or diagnostics. This ultimately leads to improved insights into the effectiveness of treatment and the recurrences of heart rhythm conditions.
For treatments, data can be inserted for the reason of treatment, the type of treatment including details on the treatment methods, and the success of the treatment. For diagnostics, data can be added about the reason for diagnostics, the type of diagnostic tool used, and its result.
All data will be combined in one workflow, which makes follow-up easier. The data of treatments and diagnostics will only be visible for healthcare providers in the portal, and will not be shared with patients.
