How can you ask for a review?

The results provided by our application are created by an algorithm that has been validated clinically through numerous studies. On top of that, we are a medically certified app, meaning that we comply with the highest standards for accuracy and quality. This way, you can be sure that the results of your measurements are reliable.

Nevertheless, we do work with a team of medical experts who specialise in atrial fibrillation, so that we can offer you reviews of your measurements for when you want that extra bit of certainty.

There are various reasons why you would want your measurements to be reviewed. It might be that you experienced some symptoms that worried you, although your measurement indicated that there was no underlying issue. In that case, an extra confirmation by an expert who reviewed your measurements can be exactly the confirmation that you need to get peace of mind.

In other cases, you may have had an orange measurement, meaning that you should talk to your doctor about your results the next time you have an appointment. A review of this measurement by one of our experts can give you more certainty on the severity of this measurement.

It may also be that the FibriCheck app indicated that you should make an appointment with your doctor as soon as possible, as your measurement indicated a possible case of atrial fibrillation. If you didn’t experience any symptoms, this may come as a surprise and you may have your doubts. In this case, an expert review can help confirm your measurement or adjust it if necessary.

With each review, the expert will also take a look at the notes you’ve left with your measurement. By taking these into consideration, some results may be explained. With each review, you’ll receive a detailed report from us which you can share with your doctor. That way, your doctor immediately has a better understanding of your heart rhythm, which can help speed up the process of getting you the treatment that you need.

There are two ways to obtain a review for a measurement. With the Essential subscription, you can request a review of a single measurement. This is a great option if you received a result that you were unsure of as it didn’t match with what you were feeling. In this case, an expert review can provide peace of mind or confirmation that action is necessary.

On the other hand, we also offer a Premium subscription. With this package, any irregularity, which we call an anomalous measurement, automatically gets sent to our team of medical reviewers, who will carefully check and send you a detailed report of the reviewed measurement within 48 hours. If you want a review for a regular measurement, you can request this in the app next to the measurement.
